  16 This document describes the implementation of an \fBOccam\fP to \fBEM\fP
  17 compiler. The lexical analysis is done using \fBLex\fP.
  18 For the semantic analysis the extended LL(1) parser generator \fBLLgen\fP is
  19 used. To handle the Occam-specific features as channels and parallelism some
  20 library routines are required.
